Thanksgiving 2009

I find these posts I make after traveling to be incredibly tedious because of the number of pictures that require sorting and selecting.  That said, it was a great trip with our usual tight squeeze of many, many family and friends. Here goes with our greatest hits.

Mary Larkin and Molly bonding during the Deadskins vs. Cowboys game.

Eleanor having a little post nap head scratch from her great grandmother, Gram.  How lucky is she to be so close to her great grandparents?  The best part?  She figured out by the end that they were hearing impaired and thus required her to shout.  "POP!  WHY DO YOU CALL ME SKEETYBUMPER?"

Mary Larkin cuddling with Pop.

Eleanor making pumpkin pie with Bridget Vaughn.  She talked about Bridget Vaughn incessantly leading up to the trip.  Seems she has some fond memories of her.  And it is not Bridget, but Bridget Vaughn.

Mary Larking sitting with Uncle Tommy. He has a way with these Little Ladies.

Carving the bird with Pops.  I think Pops enjoyed having two shadows for the week.

And finally, all that tryptophan kicks in.

Clearly, we have a great amount for which to be thankful this year.
