In any event, the time has COME. We are six weeks out from our first surgery: October 25. First of four (next three dates are TBD). Below is our itinerary. I'm going to work really, really hard at keeping the blog up to date so you can follow the progress of the surgeries, should you be so inclined. You may even get some pictures of her NEW EAR.
So say goodbye to her old, little, special ear which we love so much. And quite frankly, I'm going to miss. No kidding.
Oct. 19-21: San Diego (Show the girls where the Buchanan family began!!)
Oct. 21-23: Anaheim (Disneyland)
Sunday Oct. 23: drive to Woodside CA
Monday Oct. 24: 2:45pm pre-operative appointment
Tuesday Oct. 25: AM surgery (one overnight in the hospital)
Thursday Oct. 27: 3:00pm post-operative appointment
Thursday Oct. 27: leave Woodside CA for Half Moon Bay CA for the long weekend.
Tuesday Nov. 1: drive back to Woodside CA for 3pm post-operative appointment; spend the night in airport hotel
Wednesday Nov. 2: leave early for Chicago

i remember seeing her precious little ear with gar minutes after she was born. it's killing me that i won't be there in person for this! go eleanor!
